A simple product & big mission
The focus of Exploding Insights is to find gaps in the market. While there are multiple "trend" products, we are making an intentional choice to not
make a competing product in this area.
There is a lack of products that helps you figure out WHAT to build and we hope to fix that problem.
The core metric that we will be tracking is how fast a user can find an idea that they build a new business from.
Core product features will be:
1) Improving data quality
2) More data (more ideas)
3) Better filtering (help users find ideas faster)
This will hopefully ultimately lead to customers can find profitable, scalable ideas faster.
People
Community
We hope to bring together builders that are focused on shipping profitable products. Our hypothesis is that if we manage to create a group of great builders along with great ideas, we will have even greater ideas.
An ideal community member will be someone that has built a few products already, have a high-bias for action to building and shipping products. The
community will not be an accountability group. The community should be supportive but there will be little handholding in terms of how to build products or how to market products.
We should make it clear that the product is not a "get rich quick" product. Great products take time to build so we should try to find people with similar
values.
